KURT RUSHMORE joined Major Pipeline in the spring of 1991. Mr. Rushmore currently serves as the Vice President of Major Pipeline, overseeing all aspects of development, construction, operations and administration. For years he has served Major Pipeline in a variety of rolls, from On Location Project Management, to Procurement, to Regulatory Compliance, to Project Analysis. Mr. Rushmore was educated at Grand Valley State University (1989). Mr. Rushmore has worked on Pipeline Construction Projects in Michigan, Wyoming, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky. He has worked on Project Development in Indiana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota and Illinois as well.
Mr. Rushmore has also been involved in the development, construction and operation of carbon dioxide removal facilities in Northern Michigan. He was the first Project Manager in the State of Michigan to construct a high pressure CO2 delivery pipeline for the purpose of enhanced oil recovery. Mr. Rushmore has been responsible for the construction of hundreds of miles of pipeline, ranging from 24″ to 2″ in diameter. He has directed HDD crossings of the Powder River in Wyoming, the Jordan River in Michigan, and I-75, just to name a few. He has been responsible for construction through various wetlands, significant historic locations, and residential areas.
Mr. Rushmore resides in East Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife and two sons.
